Each apartment has a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, a cook top and a refrigerator-freezer. However, three delicious meals a day are included in the monthly fees, and we do encourage all residents to dine in the dining room to enjoy the companionship and fine food which residency at Orchard Hill provides.
3. Are the apartments quiet?
You will find that the apartments are well insulated to reduce sounds. This is a high quality structure, with insulation between apartments for safety and privacy.
4. What is done in the event of a noisy neighbor?
Due to the quality of the construction of this building, we do not expect that to be a problem. If it ever becomes a problem, you may be certain that Management will follow up on any complaints.
5. How many square feet are in each apartment?
We have many sizes and floor plans from which to choose. They range in size from 330 to 577 square feet. Monthly fees are based on square footage and location. We offer studios and one-bedroom apartments.
6. Are the apartments furnished?
No, we encourage residents to bring their own furnishings to help make each apartment their home. We do have furnished apartments for respite or short term stays.
7. Do you have a guest room?
No, residents may have guests in their apartment for short stays. There is also the Wayside Carriage House Inn located directly across the street.
8. Are window coverings and shower curtains included?
We provide window shades and residents should bring their own curtains, draperies and rods.
